The letting process

Owners of commercial property or potential tenants would be well advised to seek legal advice. There are a range of legal issues that arise when a commercial lease is first granted and during the period of the property is let.

Disputes

Like any other contract, disputes can arise between a landlord and a tenant. The most common are :-

• The non payment of rent or other payments.
• The state of repair of the premises during the lease or at the end.

Whether you are looking to recover rent and evict the tenant or you are on the receiving end of such claims, you will probably benefit from legal advice. Similarly if you as a landlord are claiming compensation because of the state of the premises or you are defending such a claim you would also benefit from legal advice.
